adyetrace searches the Karuta dyes Keqing has recorded. Look up one dye by its $code, find who owns a dye you like, or browse colours and names before trying them in Dye Tester.
Dye Trace does not require premium, but the server's Trace channel restrictions still apply. A release switch can also make it unavailable. These examples use the default a prefix; use your server's prefix if it differs.
Run adyetrace with no arguments to open Latest Dyes: up to the latest 50 dyes, ten per page. Each row shows the code, name and recorded colour, without owner or charges, so the list stays compact.
adyetraceThe footer counts the dyes shown, the total traced dyes and Mystic dyes, the page, and fetch time. Only the person who ran the command can turn pages. Page buttons disappear after one minute without their interaction; using a page button restarts that minute. The results stay in the message, and Open Dye Catalogue keeps working after the page buttons expire.
adyetrace $qzdSend the code as the command's only argument, including $. The Dye Trace reply shows its name, whether it is Mystic, the recorded owner, code, charges and, when available, colour, colour group, obtained time and a dye thumbnail. A dye with no recorded owner is shown as no owner.
If the reply says Dye not traced, run Karuta's kv $qzd where Keqing can read the answer, then try again. A dye code is not a card code.
adyetrace ice cold m:true
adyetrace c:blue o:none
adyetrace c:#8bcce5
adyetrace o:me
adyetrace o:@user m:false| Filter | What it searches |
|---|---|
Plain words, n: or name: | Dye name; words can contain spaces, such as ice cold |
c:, color: or colour: | A colour group such as blue, or a six-digit hex colour such as #8bcce5 |
o: or owner: | An owner mention or Discord user ID; me means you, none means dyes with no recorded owner |
m: or mystic: | true for Mystic dyes, false for regular dyes; yes/no and 1/0 also work |
A bare user mention also selects that owner. Combine filters to narrow the result. A filter needs a value: o: on its own is not a valid search.
Search results show charges and owner alongside the code, name and colour, ten dyes per page. Owner mentions in the reply do not notify anyone. The same one-minute idle timeout applies to search page buttons. The command has a five-second cooldown.
The colour circle is a visual guide to the stored hex colour, not a guarantee of how the dye will look on your card. Missing colour information is left out rather than guessed.
Keqing reads supported Karuta dye messages in servers where it is present:
kdc) triggers a sync of that owner's whole dye collection from karuta.com, including images. It does not save only the rows visible on the Discord page.kv $code) records or refreshes that individual dye from the lookup.Collection syncs are limited to once per owner per ten minutes. Turning more kdc pages inside that window does not force another sync. Rate limits or an unavailable service can delay it further; a later collection view can try again. For one missing dye, open its kv instead of repeatedly paging the collection.
Owners, charges and colours describe what was last recorded, not a live guarantee that a dye is still available to trade. Searching in a channel can be disabled without stopping collection in the background; collection also has its own release switch.
The Open Dye Catalogue button opens the Dye Catalogue, which uses the same Trace dye data. From Latest Dyes, it opens newest first; from a code lookup, it searches that code. For filtered searches it carries supported name, colour-family and Mystic/regular choices across.
Owner filters do not carry over: the web catalogue has no owner filter. A hex search can be used as the catalogue's text query, but combining name and hex does not preserve both filters there. Keep using the Discord result when those exact constraints matter.
adyetest $qzd, or send $qzd when an active tester asks for a dye. This also works for Dye, Dye all and Try another dye prompts. See Dye Tester.adyeextract $qzd to explore its colours and glow. See Dye Extractor.Code shortcuts need a traced dye with a usable picture and Dye Trace available to you. If the dye is unknown, has no picture, or the service is unavailable, the tool asks for Karuta's kv $code instead. Supplying a code never spends or applies the dye.
