Frame Tester

Test frames on characters with automatic reactions and premium morph features.

Frame Tester

Test how frames look on any character without owning them. The bot automatically detects Karuta character lookups and provides interactive frame testing with premium morph capabilities.

How to Use

Method 1: Automatic Reactions (Premium)

For premium servers, the bot automatically adds reactions to Karuta character lookups:

    Character Lookup

    Search for the character through Karuta's lookup command:

    k!lookup sinon
  • 2

    Edition Selection

    Select the corresponding edition by clicking the ⬅️ or ➡️ arrows to switch between editions.

    Click Frame Tester Reaction

    The bot automatically adds 🖌️ (paintbrush) and 🎖️ (military medal) reactions to the lookup embed. Click the 🖌️ reaction to start frame testing.

  • 4

    Enter Frame Name

    The bot will prompt you to enter a frame name. You have 30 seconds to respond.

    Examples:

    • budokai
    • budokai frame
    • interface

Method 2: Manual Reactions (Non-Premium)

For non-premium servers, you need to manually add the reaction:

    Character Lookup

    Search for the character through Karuta's lookup command:

    k!lookup sinon

    Edition Selection

    Select the corresponding edition by clicking the ⬅️ or ➡️ arrows to switch between editions.

    Manual Paintbrush Addition

    Manually add the 🖌️ (:paintbrush:) reaction to the Karuta lookup embed.

  • 4

    Enter Frame Name

    After clicking your reaction, enter the frame name when prompted.

Frame Testing Features

Basic Frame Testing

  • Enter any frame name to see how it looks on the character
  • The bot generates a preview image showing the character with the frame applied
  • Processing time is displayed after generation

Premium Morph Testing

Premium servers get access to advanced morph testing with color customization:

Syntax: <frame_name> #<hex_color>

Examples:

  • budokai #ff0000 - Budokai frame with red morph
  • interface #00ff00 - Interface frame with green morph

Morph Types Available:

  1. Morph 1 | Hue - Hue-based color shifting
  2. Morph 2 | Multiply - Multiply blend mode
  3. Morph 3 | Color - Color overlay effect
  4. Morph 4 | Darken - Darken blend mode
  5. Morph 5 | Lighten - Lighten blend mode
  6. Morph 6 | Color Burn - Color burn effect

Interactive Features

  • Retry Button (🔁) - Try testing another frame
  • Tips Button (☕) - Get premium information (non-premium servers)
  • 30-Second Timer - Frame name input expires after 30 seconds
  • 60-Second Interaction - Button interactions expire after 60 seconds

Available Frames

Use the aframes command to see all available frames in Keqing's database, organized by category:

  • Bits Frames - Normal frames requiring bits
  • Carousel Frames - Daily carousel frames
  • Special Frames - Special event frames
  • Event Frames - Limited event frames
  • Monthly Frames - Monthly reward frames
  • Ranked Frames - Ranked/dojo frames

Data Tracking

The frame tester automatically tracks usage data:

  • Character Data - Updates character and series information
  • Wishlist Data - Tracks character wishlist counts
  • Frame Usage - Records which frames are tested for analytics
  • API Integration - Syncs data with the Keqing API

Feature Management

Disabling Frame Testers

You can control where Frame Tester features are available through your server's dashboard:

    Access Feature Management

    Navigate to your server dashboard and go to Settings > Feature Management.

    Select Frame Testers

    Find Frame Testers from the feature list.

  • 3

    Choose Channels to Disable

    Select the channels where you want to disable Frame Tester features. When disabled, users will see: "Frame tester is disabled in this channel"

    Save Changes

    Changes are applied immediately without requiring bot restarts.

Feature Control

Frame Testers (including frame tester, multi frame tester, morph tester, and most tested frame tester) are enabled in all channels by default. Use the Feature Management panel to selectively disable them in specific channels where you don't want them to be available.
